Hello!!! 🙂

Today, we’re going to a meeting with a customer to check out everything they have, and the area we’ll be working on, because they want us to install a pet door! ^-^ Because it’s all the way in Pflugerville, I had to wake up at 8:30! Amazingly enough, I set an alarm on my Iheartradio app, and it actually woke me up! So, we got there, we got everything signed, and then I looked for the screws and electronic key but they weren’t there. When we were on our way home, the customer called and was like ‘surprise, they were in the battery compartment!’ which is the one place I did not look. We were already more than halfway home, so we’re just going to do it tomorrow.

We picked up sodas on the way home, and then when we got home, my mom suggested I fix something I had been thinking of for a while! Stuffed bell peppers!

They’re stuffed with some sautéed onions, mixed in with ground up wild game meat, and some rice, all topped with cheese! I steamed the peppers first while the meat was cooking, and then when they were just getting about 50% less rigid, I took them out to cool so I could handle them. I then used a spoon and put in about three spoonfuls of meat before topping that with cheese, and then adding ¼ cup of rice and water into the pan with the meat. After that was done, I filled them to the top, added cheese, and then put the tops on!

My mom sliced several carrots and cooked them in the water the bell peppers were in. They were so sweet, it was amazing! We also served it with two sliced tomatoes each. Upon cutting open the peppers, this is what you see:

Oh, soooo good.

After relaxing a bit, I decided to vlog outside (no I have not uploaded #300 yet, I’m that much of a procrastinator, DON’T WORRY, SOON.)

Here’s my ‘little bit shorter’ hair;

Spikaaay.. But I figured out what I really wish to do with it and showed the idea to my mom.  We should be attacking it sometime soon. 💇

Hehehe. I had to do it. Yes, I was recording! Now this will forever be the inception of Bloggary! Ehehe.

So I was out there for a couple hours, then both my mom and dad came outside. We listened to some music on my radio app, and then the breeze died….so inside we went!  After that, we had a little popcorn and watched TV! I also washed some clothes *gasp*. I had my mom wax my legs, because I had let the hair grow out specifically so the lower legs could be waxed. It was…gross, and painful! We used to wax it quite a bit a couple years ago, though…so I think we deadened some of the nerves attached to the follicles. Hah..woop for ripping out hair! (On the legs) 😂

So, we’re set to install the pet door today, and I’ve woken up at about 8:20, and I’m going to actually take a shower this morning. Yay for being clean! 😝

So we arrived around 10:40, and it was very dark around us and back south to home, plus there were a few drops of rain as we were driving up.

  We then got started on opening the packets and getting the wall template placed. I got the template in place and cut through it into the sheetrock and then my dad used his jigsaw to cut through the sheetrock completely. After that, we had to go around the corner to a Home Depot and I went in to get one 2×4 for framing around the hole in the wall!

After all that framing in, we cut out the other side, which was only covered by hardy siding and cardboard sheathing, besides the insulation that was in the wall. We trimmed the space a bit and then finally squeezed the pet door into the hole in the wall. Ta-dah!

I cleaned up and started taking tools back out at around 4:45 while my dad wrote up everything.

Well, we finally left, and then once hitting 183, we found the traffic to absolutely SUCK.

Look at all those cars!

Why? Because the lousy COTA (Circuit of the Americas) race track is hosting an event of Brad Paisley. Okay. That’s fine. We’re getting subway for dindin tonight, so no biggie, riiiight? Wrong. I went into the subway and all they had left was flatbread, one piece of whole wheat, and one of white. Niiiice subway.. Okay flatbred then! Always good to try something new I guess? Then we got sodas and headed home!

Believe it or not, the flatbread(despite not being the best at holding in all the veggies) was quite tasty! We watched some TV and then I just passed out asleep because I had a mega, horrible, wretched headache. I woke up a few hours later, though and put my leftover sandwich away, even though I was just going to end up grabbing them an hour or so later :P. So, I stayed up a little lager <–WHAT? later and then finally just gave in to sleep.

Hiiii!!!

It’s Fridaaay yeaah…
And after getting up, I went outside to help get the tools out of the truck and we went to the back for a little bit before I had to go change, because we’re going to the baaaaank. We stopped to refuel the truck first, and there were just some absolute crazies driving around the pumps.

So, we made it to the bank, then made it back home all safe and with sodas! As soon as we got home, it was time for an early dinner of egg sandwich(es)!

Doesn’t that look delicious? Ohhh it was so good. While eating, we watched ridiculousness, which was extremely funny this week. I mean, seriously… So FUNNY. After chillin for a bit, we went outside at the expectation of rain..look! Look at those CLOUDS!

And the look at this one! It’s a cute little pachyderm!

I had this thread on my shirt when I went to sit down…so…I turned it into……………………

A creepy Waluigi mustache! Hey..hey..I mustache you a question…hehehehehe!!!! 😂
 
Okay..-snort- I know, that was sooo lame, but anywaaaays…a little after the hope for the LYING clouds to drop rain died, we went back out

We tried to see if any bats would fly over.. But 0…none…nada. So much sadness…lying clouds, and then THE BATS? How dare they!!!

Haha..anyways, my mom got dough started for donuts, and we watched some TV while it was whipping up. I went outside for a bit with Finn, and we were trying to find any rats who have been hanging around(like they tend to do) when I spotted this big female orb spider. Isn’t she beautiful? I saw her on the wind chime the other day,and actually thought she was dead because she wasn’t moving and was hanging upside down. Needless to say I nearly peed. She moved quick when I touched her leg (don’t try that at home kids!), and she twitched her legs like she was waiting to bite something. So…I left her alone!

We found no rats…maybe we scared them away for good? But anyways…onto donuts!

I worked the dough flat and was allowed to cut it all out! My mom and I worked together to make some awesome donuts…and…here they are!

Happy SATURDAY!

So, I woke up kind of late, and tonight Drake and Lil Wayne are supposed to be having a rap-off at the COTA…joy. So we’re going to go to the store after having a refreshing snack of sliced cukies and a few tomatoes. It was really good, but we can’t leave right away, because my dad has to ice down his knee.

Okay. We’re going into JD’s. There are an alarmingly high amount of screaming children running around. !*@!#*!@!*@#!!!!! Yes, symbols, exactly. There was this 8 yr old with a tablet, playing games on it, running around, while his sister(?) who was about 5 was chasing him and trying to pull it out of his hands. I don’t know..but I have to ask, how many of you just want to stick your leg out and trip one of them irritating children? Because..I..so badly just WANT TO. I know, that’s bad..but goodness. It wasn’t just the children I wanted to beat, though. There was this group of four guys walking closely together, irritatingly slow, and I wanted to beat them each in the face with my box of ice cream. Yes, ice cream isn’t 6billion dollars for 5 quarts, so we got some! ^_^

Finally we got to the check out, we just barely made it unscathed, and we got to a newly opened register that nobody was yet standing at. Then we made it home, despite people not understand that you have to actually turn when cars aren’t coming -_-. So, we got banquet meals, because they’re only 88¢, aaaand upon opening them, they’ve gotten smaller. Hah.

So, upon returning home, we started making salad, and then after it was nearly done, we started some chicken nugget and little crinkle fries banquet meals. It was quite yum! It was also very hard to finish, because it was such a GIANT SALAD. We spent much time watching college football….longhorns sucked..like, bad. Fighting Irish won though *yay*

THEN WE fell asleep…yeah. 😛

So, I actually woke up near 12:30! Shocking, right?

So, my parents started on breakfast, and then after potatoes were done, I began toasting bread and moved the potatoes to another pan before starting bacon! I’m cooking two packs because they had a deal(but those were sold out, so they gave us a different item in its place at the same price) andddddddd because we’re planning on having BLT’s tomorrow!!! Yeeaaahhhh!!

So, by 2 it was ready! Tadaaaaahhhh!

With yolky little balls of sunshiiiine! So loverly, indeed!

After food, we watched Foosball Football! Okay..COWBOYS sucked today.. But at least the Broncos won, right? Yeah! (Quiet no’s in the distance) WHAT?! °-°

Anyways…at middle evening-ish time… We went and got drinks! Then we had some veggies as a snack!

After that point…it was time for the finale of Leftovers. It was…a little too focused I think on Kevin in the beginning, but the latter part had a lot of emotion in it, it was beautiful in a way. I think the ending was quite good, but I believe they’re having a season two, so….we’ll see next year? 😗 We were hungry afterwards, so we had poocooooorrrnnn!

I just noticed I kept on saying “so,” before ALMOST EVERYTHING! I’m so crazy.

But..after taking so much time to actually write this FIVE DAY BLOGGARY, IT IS TO BE PUBLISHED!!!

P.S. my apologies for taking so long, but when one watches Anchorman 2, it is hard to finish a Bloggary!

Happy Tuesday!

I had to wake up at….nearly noon…because………ESTIMATE!!!

The woman we are going to do an estimate for has seemed a little wishy washy in the past times she has contacted us for an estimate on the very thing we’re going to look at today… sooooo…yeah. Yay.?:?

The estimate lasted well over an hour, and it’s basically a demo job, like removing cabinets (without harming them), removing laminate back splash, and moving some of her appliances to another area outside of the kitchen.

We stopped and got some fountain drinks on the way home; at home we had a baked potato for lunch! After lunch, we turned off all the lights and relaxed in the cool living room. The fan in the carport has made it immensely better!

I chatted with my Hogwarts buds in the Great Hall, and then I helped my mom with dinner!

Thick tomato soup(with a hint of shredded cheese) and grilled cheese with a sliced tomato! I just LOVE TOMATO SOUP AND GRILLED CHEESE!! :> It was so tasty, and it made me sleepy!

Oo, I accidentally cut my thumb way early this morning… I was cutting a lime when the knife slipped. The cut wasn’t too bad, but the fact that the knife cut with the force of me trying to cut a lime…it feels bruised. And it burned a lot when the lime juice got on it.

We’re watching Deadliest Catch and Tyrant tonight! The end of deadliest catch was…a full on attack on the feels…ahhgghh.. -sniffle-😰

And thennnnn…no rest from shows! Tyrannnnnnttt!!! It is such a good show. I’m starting to get addicted to it.

I was woken up at 12, but then I went back to sleep and woke up 2 hours later.

It was 4 when I finally got dressed ._.

I ended up reading more Harry Potter, and then chatting with Hogwartians, before finally having popcorn whilst watching Bad Boys 2.

Hiiii! Today..is the day..I wake up earl-NOPE.

Yeah…I got up at 2…I can’t help it, my pillow feels so nice..😐

We’ve already taken apart the old TV that twc killed, but we still have the old ac, plus a couple other things to deconstruct and prep for recycling, soooo that’s what we’ll be taking care of today.

We got the coils apart, and big tip: recycling places pay more for coils when the copper and random scrap metal are taken off the ends. Then you can just take the copper in on its own, which is a much better price than attached to the coils.

After all the hard work, we had some split-peatato-bean soup with yummynum sliced bread:

😰 It was sooo good.

After that, we watched Ridiculousness, which was really, stupidly funny this week :P.

Heeyyyy! First day of August!! Yaaaaaaya!! I waked up at 2 :I. I seriously need to try this magical thing called *sleeping before 4 am*.

Todaaaaayyyyy…is recycling day!! We’re going to take some ac parts, some copper, aluminum cans, and some old TV parts to recycle. See?

This is the only part left that we’re recycling from the TV.

Good news! It equaled more than $30 worth, and aluminum cans are ¢68 a pound! So, it seems that Sunday mornings after all the parties and such happen around us would be a perfect time to pick up beer cans and other cans people just throw in parking lots and on the side of the road. I mean, seriously litterers are a good way to make money. The road to where we hunt would be a good place for cans, but if we could recycle glass here, that road would be a money maker, dudes. It’s a shame we can’t recycle glass bottles. I’d love to recycle bottles, like from the times we drink cokes from Mexico in glass bottles? All that wasted glass!! Unbelievable!

After we got home, I had to lay back, because I slept weird and hurt my neck, plus having allergies with dust and pollen made my head feel like a watermelon under a 200 lb press. Yuck. Eventually, it felt better, and we went and got some groceries! Like some cabbages, tomatoes, Busch’s pintos, and eggsssssss.

When we got home, look! Spidey building a web!

Loooookk..it’s one of the babies I saved. Wait, did I tell y’all about the orb spiders I saved as babies? 😶 I do not remember, at all. Well, their nest was in one of the feeding holes in our metal bird feeder, and I felt they were at serious risk of being plucked out and killed by birds. So, I gathered up the web they were in and took them over to our table of plants! They were there since before March, and we would check on them constantly! Now, it seems, they have grown up to pea sized, and even dime sized! They make beautiful webs too. I’m just so happy they survived :].

We had egg sandwiches with sliced tomatoes and…I don’t know what to call it…sautéed cabbage for dinner!

See, the cabbage was chopped small, and then put into the iron skillet on med to med-high heat with oil and seasonings. I let it cook itself down with periodical stirring and checking of tenderness. After it was soft, I turned it on warm and served. It was…just..*sniffles* so delightfully exquisite! The flavor was unlike any cabbage I had tasted before! I’m definitely making more the exact same way tomorrow!!

Tonight’s movie was World’s End, which was shocking, because movies don’t usually premier on Fridays! 😮

Hellooo! Is anyone still reading? I’d like a comment or two if you are :P. 

Today looks to be rainy! And it also looks like the storms should be named Zorro…😋

It rained all the way over to the job site!

And then it just kept raining for about another hour before I was able to get tool bags out.

I got to mixing up old 20-minute mud so my dad could float out the new pass through wall. When we were done with that, we mixed up 45-minute for the other side of the wall, because the 20-minute was proving to be too old and lumpy.

After that, we had a break in the storms, so we went to a northern area of Austin to pick up MDF from Fine Lumber for substrate. My dad went to pick out sheets with a sales associate and handed me the keys; yes I backed up the truck into the bay quite nicely :).

After that fun journey, we headed to the Depot de Home and I ran inside to get screws and more 45-minute mud.

By that time, it was already 3, so we headed back to clean up the plastic and any messes.

When we got home, it was time for SUPER LEFTOVER MASH-UP TIME! 😛

It was leftover chicken and its sides+plus fish and its sides, with a baked potato topped with leftover bacooooonnn!

These things loved the rain immensely!

Today is the day we rip(with a table saw, auughh so frightening) and install the substrate! Look at my sock…it’s dying ;(

Honestly, I hate using the table saw. It’s just this baseless(not really, I read stories)fear of something happening while I’m helping rip the giant 70lb sheets of MDF.

It was easier than my brain tried to tell me it’d be. My brain tells me these things often, as you all know if you have read my post titled Procrastinator!

After that, we got them substrate pieces installed, and got a cleat on the wall so the dishwasher has a supported piece of countertop as well.

Oh, and look at the pass through now!

We got to go home earlier than expected, annnnnnd we picked up sammiches!! But first, time for a lifewataaaa!

They have phrases on the underneath side of the caps!

We watched deadliest catch, and guess what? It wasn’t a complete waste if time on Neese the mumbler this time! Yaaay lol. Oh! And we had some butterfingersssss!

Hellooo! Today a countertop person is supposed to take measurements!

We floated once more on the wall so we can get it textured again, then I started working on patching a portion of wall where the stove’s gas line is.

The countertop guy showed up a teensy bit late, but it’s all the same, because he took the template and got his measurements. After he and the customer left, we went down to Lowe’s to pick up some more blue tape, razor blades and drill bits! Plus we picked up mosquito dunks while we were there; we’ve got to hit the mosquitoes hard before they even hatch!

Idk why I took this pic…I guess I liked the sign… Tool World! The theme park for craftsmen!

Hah.

For dinner, my mom made beans, potatoes, and sausaaaage!

My dad made salsa when we got home;oh my goodness was it hot!

After dinner, we watched Fargo!! Lester, Lester, Lester. Lester is horrible, absolutely horrible!

It is so warm in here. I feel like falling asleep, so I probably will. But before I forget another day, I will say that my mom ordered a Whirlpool brand Air Conditioner! From Amazon! Woo! 😀

Cold living room here we come! Soon! 😛

Helloo! Today we went and got our contract signed for making a standup desk to go on the top of an existing desk. We had to just about park on the ninth level of the parking garage, and look at the view!

Then after that, we went to the mart of wal, and I used the rest of my gift card to get these things!

A dark green polo for meetings with clients,

A dressy looking T shirt from JMS, but I like wearing these for anything,

A mix/match pajama top and shorts! That stuff, and bras, because BRAS ARE PEOPLE IMPORTANT TOO!!

And now!! Luncheon!!

And after that, while looking up reviews on watercolor pencils, my Mom and I learned that watercolor pencils can be wetted, and then used like face paint!! Look at these designs we did;

cool watercolor pencils. And you can see the evil little lavender pencil that kept on breaking last night.

We went outside a little bit ago, and look at these cool pics! Especially this one of Finn;



I am eager to wear my new pajamas, so I’ll be changing soon.

Man, these new PJs are niiiicceee! Comfy, and not ride-uppie! 🐌

Now, when I said I loved salad, I wasn’t kidding. Two days in a row and for like the third week in a row, we’ve had salad! And it isss soooooo gudddd.

Yum yum yum! I not only love salad, but I strongly believe that one of the most excellent midday snacks HAS to be a couple of sliced and salted tomatoes!

So, tomorrow is my dad’s birthday, and we went shopping for a few things to make cake and lunch. I nearly had a panic attack when a kid in the aisle I was in started coughing. I’m not kidding. I am so scared of getting sick like I did this last Christmas, that anyone coughing near me, anywhere, sends my brain into panic mode.

I’m better now though, because COOKIES AND ICE CREAM!

We watched Fargo, and it was a tad disappointing with a couple things that happened, and it felt SLOW this week. Now, I would love to turn on my computer and write essays, but I’ve got a raging beast of a headache, so laying down to see if I can get rid of this thang.

It’s my Dad’s birthday today! We’re going to make a cake, some chili dogs, salsa, give a gift; it’s a total fiesta up in here!

Here’s lunch!




Looks good, right? I loooooovvveee chili so much.

Here’s the gift we(my Mom and I) gave him! My Dad is a major Notre Dame fan, so it’s a little Fighting Irish mascot guy! It has a cool back that the description called a modern cloisonne finding, which has a normal stud back(not butterfly, but cylindrical) and on the front end of the backer, there’s a plastic disk that is large enough to keep the back from digging into your ear. It’s kind of like this one on an earring of mine.

So here we go with the cake! Our oven’s heating element went out about a month ago, so we had to find other means of baking a cake. My mom found these directions on YouTube on how to microwave the cake🍰! We made the batter like normal, but a little more moist, and put it in an 8 inch microwave safe pan that was oiled (we’re going to oil and flour it next time), then microwaved it starting at 4 minutes, then added 30 second intervals until it was perfectly cooked through! Always REMEMBER the toothpick test on cake!





! Oh my gosh it was just as good as oven baked cakies! It was spongy, soft, moist and soooo flavorful!

Ahh it’s sooo late. I’m watching Hot Fuzz, and it’s such a silly movie, but I love those silly British humor movies. Time to sleep soon though, my eyes can’t stay open!
